Starting a skin care regiment is easier than you think
When I was a child, not having to worry about skin care, I remember sitting on the edge of my mother’s bed swinging my legs all the while recounting my fabulous day of coloring and what color shoes Jennifer wore that day. As I went through my daily nightly ritual of story telling it did not occur to me at the time that my mother also had a nightly ritual of skin care. Oh sure she would look at me from time to time and make noises as though she was listening to me but while she was intensely slathering on her cold cream and skewing her face in crazy positions in my little child brain I did not realize she was fighting the war on ageing.
We tend to think of age defying creams and skin care as that glass bottle of pink liquid on mom’s dresser. Something we will just do when the time comes. However, the time is here now no matter what your age is skin care is important. If you really think about it you were always concerned if not down right worried about you appearance. From your first pimple to your first real laugh line the problem is how to make peace with your skin from your first sunburn to your first age spot skin care matters more than anyone thinks.
The one sure bet in fighting this battle is simply being kind to your skin and developing a skin care routine. Every night before bed, wash your face gently with a thin washcloth like a child’s washcloth so you can feel your skin with your fingertips. Wash all your makeup off at night and pat your skin dry, never rub also use a lotion to repair your skin while you sleep, it is an easy and well worth it regiment to follow for proper skin care. In the morning, gently wash your face again to remove all the oils that have come to the surface and lightly moisturize again then you can put your makeup on after your face no longer feels wet from the moisturizer you applied. Always use sunscreen when you are going to be in the sun for long or short periods of time. Be kind to your skin your face says a lot about you without uttering a word make sure it says that you are smart enough to follow the basic skin care regiment.
Vipox by Numagen is part of my daily routine and I recommend it as part of your overall regiment.
